Kiehl's Jump Onto The BB Train

I'll be the first person to say that I am a lover of highly pigmented and full coverage foundations,
Only, a few months ago, I started a course of Roaccutane (comment or like this post if you would like me to tell you all about my course) and my skin has since cleared up!
I do, however, still have post-acne scarring.

This is where Kiel's comes in!!

Kiehl's has a promotion where you can try the BB cream before you buy it, I have tanned skin and live in Australia so my choices are very limited when it comes to colour range and options to buy less overpriced products. I've been trying this sample of the Natural shade of their BB cream and it fits me very well!

I put the BB cream on top of my Aveeno moisturiser and absolutely love the way it makes my skin feel! it's moisturising, light and not heavily scented and the coverage is beautiful and it has a broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF30!

I pop some MAC mineralise skin-finish powder on my cheeks to contour and a little concealer under my eyes and I'm pretty much done!

Kiehls, I am proud to say, I love your products and am now a Konvert!

Stay Foxie XOXO

PS, here are some swatches of the colours (I JUST fit into the natural shade)

M.A.C Introducing A BeautyBalm!

MAC has introduced a new BB cream called the "MAC Prep And Prime Beauty Balm".
While it has been on the US market and many European markets for a wile now, it's fairly new to the Aussie market.
It has got an SPF of 35 and some coverage that blurs imperfections. While it has been called a Beauty Balm, those of you who are into the real deal, you'll know that BB creams produced in Asia are the ones to go to. However, they're not always readily accessible to everyone, this is where companies like MAC come in.

It's quite sheer coverage and won't be of any good use to people with acne, scarring or large amounts of imperfections. However, if you're blessed with clear skin,
 A)How DO you do it?!
and B) this BB will give you the perfect finish to swipe on and go!

For those ladies who dont want to spend long in the mornings, a touch of this and a flick of mascara and away you go!

Kate Middleton Pregnant!

So now that it's official and Kate Middleton is with child... We at Foxie decided we couldn't wait another 8-ish months to find out what Kate and Will's baby will look like, so we (and Make Me Babies) took matters into our own hands.

Check them out!

Beauty Review: Napoleon Perdis

Bonjour my lovelies :)
Time for another beauty review! As I've said in recent posts, I had run out of a foundation and wanted to try something different, with more coverage so I didn't have to spend as much time applying my brigade of concealers and powders with my foundation every day.
I'm a bit of a wuss and bought the first thing I went for when I was on the search because it did look good when the MUA put it on, however, when I got home, I found a beautiful shade difference between my neck and face! (sadly,in Australia, we can't return make up) I decided to just suck it up and blend well, it worked. Wearing it lots did break me out and I also found that it got greasy very quickly, maybe because it contains beeswax?

It does give you brilliant coverage, so I think I'd use it as a concealer, however, at $62 for the stick, I won't be repurchasing it, but I will use this as a concealer once my MAC runs out.

I shall have to try out their mineralise foundation, maybe it wont be the same, right?
Any suggestions and recommendations for a foundation? or even one you want me to review?

What do ice bergs and your hair have in common?

Heey :)
So recently I've discovered something... AH.MA.ZING. And it has to do with the cold and your hair.

Now how does an ice berg have anything to do with my hair tip? Not the iceberg, but the freezing cold water it's in.
Next time you're washing your hair, massage your shampoo or conditioner in with warm water, then rinse in water as cold as you can take it.

Sound odd? Here's the science behind it.
Warm water helps your shampoo remove oils and dirt from your hair, making sure your hair is as clean as can be.
Then the cold water seals the gloss and shine in, which is what we want.

So here's my tip. Have your normal, lovely, warm shower, and just as you're about to get out, blast the ice cold water for as long as you can take, making your hair super shiny, and then run out and wrap yourself in the biggest, fluffiest, towel ever!

True Beauty Confession: Gym Make Up

I know it's bad for your skin, but I just cannot go to the gym sans make up!
Since I started going to the gym, I think there's been one day I actually did go without make up, however, that was at about 11am when absolutely no one was in and the gym trainer was an absolute cutie :)
