Yet another M.A.C foundation! Like I said in my last post, I'm a bit of a junkie when it comes to makeup, especially foundations! I bought the Studio Fix Fluid foundation at Heathrow airport on my way back to Australia and was in a bit of a rush, so I'll admit, this foundation's colour is a bit too dark for me, but with the right blending it works for late nights out and it's perfect for when you'll be under the camera lights.
My bottle is NC42, however, I should be an NC32. Like I said, bit of a difference! I wont let that deter me from reviewing this though.
This foundation is brilliant!! As usual, M.A.C does not disappoint. This foundation is much more liquidy than it's mineral sister, however, it still gives you amazing coverage. it even works as a concealer when applied more to certain spots.
The pigmentation on this foundation is just beautiful. I would add a finishing powder to this foundation as it's consistency is very liquidy. The foundation once applied is heavy, so taking it off will need extra attention.
The only real downside to this product is that it is not a pump bottle and it is hard to get the perfect amount, and it does spill occasionally. M.A.C has brought out a new bottle containing the same foundation now, which is a pump bottle, so not to worry there!
Overall, great! lot's of coverage, no concealer needed underneath or on top. Slightly liquidy, but nothing translucent powder cant fix. lasts all day with virtually no touch ups. Leaves skin matte, but glowing.
Comments please all you lovelies!
Stay Foxie! XOXO
