So picture this, you invite a , ahem, friend (or numerous, ahem, friends ;) ) over to work on an assignment. You don't want to totally doll up, because, really, you're in your own home, doing an assignment. So you want to keep it totally casual. Let's take a look at some amazing outfits from JCrew. Seriously, I love JCrew, if I could spend my entire life wearing just one brand... This would be in my top ten choices :DDD
Jeans and a colour block sweater. You still get the whole "not dressing up" thing, but with a big burst of colour.
Okay, you can seriously, not tell me that this girl doesn't just look adorable. The peach sweater and jeans... LOVE IT!
When I look at this pic, I get this little caption speech bubble above the model's head "I'm a SO ready to learn and... study... with you ;)"
The long sleeved top and jeans enhances this models figure. Perfect for showing off your rack without actually looking like you're trying to draw attention to them ;)
A cute, stripy, casual tee.
A yummmy looking cardigan in a very yummmmy looking colour.
She looks so sexily nerdily studious... Perfect.
So, my I'm-Not-Trying-To-Impress-You casual look is a bit like the purple long sleeved top pic I included. I have occasionally worn a deep blue, long sleeved top with a reasonably deep-ish neckline... Not showing any cleavage, but giving quite a nice view of my collar bones, which, is apparently, a very alluring part of a woman's body (bonus!). And with the top, I wear a pair of dark wash boot cut jeans. My favourite pair :)
Now I know we haven't exactly got a hell of a lot of readers, but if you would like (I know I would LOVE it) if you left a comment below and described your go to Not-Trying-To-Impress-You outfit.
Stay foxie!
