Colour Correcting Concealer

I have been very sceptical about colour corrector concealers. I was always in a tie between whether I should spend my money on that or a new bronzer or gloss, however, last week I just went out and bought one and it's absolutely AH-MAY-ZINGG!

I've been using the Australis conceal correct 4 in 1 concealer corrector palette as it was all I could find, their product line is brilliant, definitely check them out for any newbies :)

I'll go over the colour's and how they combat irritating colours on your skin that prevent it from glowing beautifully!

Green: combats redness

The green concealer works to combat redness, for anyone with big red pimples. if you have rosacea, I'll be posting about colour correcting primers later on. If you tend to cover the colour up with concealer or foundation and all you get is redness that just looks like foundation over red bumps, this concealer colour is for you. It conceals any blemishes, red blotches and rosacea.

Beige: combats flaws

The beigey-peachy colour helps to hide any dark pigments and helps brighten under-eye circles. it hides minor bruises, sun damage and hides dark spots. Use this colour if you have any pigmentation

Purple/Lavender: combats sallow complexions

Lavender or purple concealer treats very sallow, dull or tired  looking skin. It helps to normalise imperfections for an even base to start your makeup. This colour can also help cover under-eye circles and dark spots if you have a browner, more tanned natural complexion.

If you ever have any trouble, think of the neutralisation like the colours on a colour wheel. The opposite colour to the one plaguing your face will neutralise it.

Of course your face won't turn up this intensely with colour, but this is the gist of it.
Purple will combat yellow, dull looking skin, whereas green will combat redness.

Be sure to apply enough colour corrector so that there are none of those pesky, unwanted colours still peeking out. Apply your foundation as you would normally as none of the purples and greens will show up under your foundation.

Hope this helped any of you lovelies :)
Stay Foxie XOXO
